3. How to Enter

To enter for a chance to win a prize, visit hellowolf.ca/spartan during the Contest Period. By accessing hellowolf.ca/spartan, the user will be prompted to follow the on-screen instructions to enter the Contest. The user can complete and submit the Contest entry form (which requires the entrant to provide the following information: first and last name, hometown, email address) to be entered for a prize. All Contest entry forms must be received by the end of the Contest Period (and TCSC’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest). All entries will be destroyed following the contest unless explicit consent has been provided to receive further communication from TCSC. Limit one entry per person per day via the contest site during the Contest Period. Any person that attempts to obtain more than the allowable number of entries into the Contest and/or uses multiple names or identities to enter the Contest will be disqualified.

4. Disqualification

Persons who tamper with, disrupt or abuse any aspect of the Contest or website, or who do not comply with or attempt to circumvent these rules, as solely determined by TCSC, will be disqualified.

5. Prizes

Three (3) separate prize packs are available to be won during the Contest Period.

Use of Spartan Race Entry Codes shall be subject to the requirement that individuals redeeming such Race Entry Codes: (i) must register using Spartan’s online registration system; (ii) pay for the cost of any voluntary insurance in connection with the Event; and (iii) sign the Spartan race waiver.

6. All Prizes

Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions in cash or otherwise, except in TCSC’s exclusive discretion. TCSC reserves the right, in the event that any prize or any component of a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize or component of a prize of equal or greater value, without liability.

7. Winner Selection

A random draw will be conducted at TCSC’s offices on or around September 1, 2021 by TCSC to select three (3) different entrants (the “Selected Entrants”) from all eligible Contest entries to win the three (3) prizes. One entrant cannot win more than one prize, and if an entrant becomes a Selected Entrant and is then selected again then the second selection will be disqualified, and another entrant will be drawn. The chances of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received throughout the Contest Period. Before being declared a winner, each of the Selected Entrants will be contacted by email address included in the selected entry and will be required to (a) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question and (b) sign and return TCSC’s Declaration and Release form, which: confirms compliance with these Contest Rules, acknowledges acceptance of the prize as awarded, provides a publicity release, and releases TCSC from any and all liability in connection with this Contest and Prize; and (c) sign and return any other documentation that TCSC may require. At least three (3) attempts will be made over the five (5) days following the draw to contact the Selected Entrants. If a Selected Entrant cannot be contacted, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, fails to complete and return the Declaration and Release Form and other required documentation within three (3) business days, fails to otherwise promptly respond to TCSC’s communications, or cannot accept the prize for any reason, then at TCSC’s sole discretion that person will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize and another entrant will be selected by random draw from remaining eligible entries. TCSC is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever, including its own negligence or due to computer, telephone or technical problems, of the Selected Entrants to receive notification or for TCSC to receive the Selected Entrants’ response.

8. Publicity

Except where otherwise prohibited by law, participation in the Contest constitutes a winner’s consent to TCSC’s use of the winner’s name, hometown and photograph for promotional purposes without further notification, permission, payment or consideration.

9. General conditions

By entering the Contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and the decisions of TCSC, which shall be final and legally binding. TCSC reserves the right to terminate or amend this Contest at any time without prior notice; if that occurs, TCSC may award prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of termination, or award no prize. The Contest is subject to the laws of the Province of Alberta and all applicable federal and municipal laws. Any disputes, claims or causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest, prize or these Contest Rules will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court of Alberta.
